Welcome to Fresh Foods Wednesday #87!
This Friday I have a super big treat for you, my loves! I’m going to be reviewing and giving away a copy of Erin Scott’s new book, Yummy Supper! If you read her blog, then you know her book is destined for real food greatness.
She’s all kinds of delicious (that sounded toats dirty – not how I meant it Erin!) and I’m more than excited to be sharing a copy with you this week. And by more than excited, I’m right orgasmic over it. For reals. The first pic in the series below was just the beginning of what the book entails.
Come back on Friday to enter!!

This week in my CSA from Farm City Co-Op I got:
- Yellow and green beans
- Whack of carrots
- Purple kale
- Flat leaf Italian parsley
- Gorgeous peaches
- Green peppers
- New potatoes
- Pea shoots
- Summer squash & zucchini (whoa. I thought the patty pan I got last week was big!!)
A snippet of what I made from some of last week’s bounty: BC Fresh off the boat salmon and caramelized fennel with dill; The biggest patty pan in the world; Farm fresh tender peaches with basil; Those same farm fresh tender peaches with basil on pizza, aptly titled Friday night pizza night with homemade pizza crust, sweet grilled peaches, salty prosciutto, fresh buffalo mozzarella, torn basil, shaved parm and balsamic reduction; pizza dough mess; Sauteed patty pan with boiled new potatoes and West Broadway Meat Co. Whiskey Maple glazed kabobs. Check out more on my Instagram Feed (because I pretty much live there).
