Fresh Foods Wednesday #65 Real Food Link Up

This Friday I have a super big treat for you, my loves! I’m going to be reviewing and giving away a copy of Erin Scott’s new book, Yummy Supper! If you read her blog, then you know her book is destined for real food greatness.

Yummy Supper Cookbook Giveaway - Erin Scott - SheEats.ca

She’s all kinds of delicious (that sounded toats dirty – not how I meant it Erin!) and I’m more than excited to be sharing a copy with you this week. And by more than excited, I’m right orgasmic over it. For reals. The first pic in the series below was just the beginning of what the book entails.

Come back on Friday to enter!!

Remember about the Link Up: You can now participate in the link up via INSTAGRAM! View full instructions and how-to pictures here.

  • Purple kale
  • Lettuce
  • Flat leaf Italian parsley
  • Gorgeous peaches
  • Green peppers
  • New potatoes
  • Pea shoots
  • Summer squash & zucchini (whoa. I thought the patty pan I got last week was big!!)

Fresh Foods Wednesday #87

A snippet of what I made from some of last week’s bounty: BC Fresh off the boat salmon and caramelized fennel with dill; The biggest patty pan in the world; Farm fresh tender peaches with basil; Those same farm fresh tender peaches with basil on pizza, aptly titled Friday night pizza night with homemade pizza crust, sweet grilled peaches, salty prosciutto, fresh buffalo mozzarella, torn basil, shaved parm and balsamic reduction; pizza dough mess; Sauteed patty pan with boiled new potatoes and West Broadway Meat Co. Whiskey Maple glazed kabobs. Check out more on my Instagram Feed (because I pretty much live there).

Oh son of a bitch Suzy! hahahaha… That’s all me. I schedule it to go live at midnight but evidently I chose 11am this week. Why? No idea. Stupid me! It’s live now.

      PS. I wasn’t up. But I am now. And it’s before 6:30am my time! lol… evidently I’m trying a new work schedule/routine.

Evidently I also like the word evidently. I need coffee.

LOL Kristi! I have to have my #IceCreamWeek posts up precisely at 7 am which messes with my Blogger In Pacific Time Zone dashboard. So far so good, and I’m halfway through 6 ice cream recipes in 6 days.
Tragically (?) only half are appropriate for your link up–I mean, How to Make an Ice Cream Pie at Home is a good tutorial, but not really appropriate. As well.
Instead, you get Chocolate Beet Milkshakes and Lazy Leftover Fruit Salad Ice Cream. You’ll survive, right?
Don’t forget–the giveaway is open through the end of the month and is for Canadian and US residents.
    Thanks for hosting!

Excited to link up a savory, summer dish: Shakshuka! It’s an egg dish with very rich tomatoes. 🙂

Your CSA sounds amazing, especially with all the fresh summer squash. I miss my old one in Brooklyn!

Looks like a great link up, sorry I missed it. Was going to pin the button so I would remember next week, but there is no button.
