Salmon with Dill and Sauteed Fennel Recipe + Yummy Supper Cookbook Giveaway - SheEats.ca

Thank you all so much for taking the time to enter the giveaway and comment on the blog post last week. I’m so lucky to be surrounded by such a stellar group of food loving people. I don’t know what I’d do without you. I’d probably still blog but then I’d just be talking to myself and I do enough of that in real life.

…Speaking of which, do you ever catch yourself having a fake conversation in your own head in public only to realize you’re actually having it semi-out loud and you’re making facial expressions and head shakes? No? Just me? Crap.

Okay, enough rambling. Let’s get to the good stuff. You want a winner? You got a winner. The winner of the new book by Erin Scott, Yummy Supper: 100 Fresh, Luscious & Honest Recipes from a {Gluten-Free} Omnivore is….

Awesome, thank you, Kristy!! I have some salmon that my father-in-law brought back from a fishing trip to BC so I think I should be well set-up for when the book arrives 🙂 Thanks for hosting and happy long weekend.

Talking to myself in public? Oh yeah. Thank goodness my whole family does it, so I don’t feel quite so nutty…..

So I noticed the piggy earlier today. I actually noticed it on the latest link up post (which I didn’t link up to because I have not been organized enough the past few weeks to do any link ups.) So I had to come to this post to see if you mentioned it because I did skip reading this post. I know I know, terrible.

So anyway, I am reading through the post and actually LOL’d. Yup. Out loud. And not just a little chuckle, actual laughing with belly shaking.

    Why you ask?

The whole fake conversation in my head. And the head shaking. Oh my goodness. And have you ever had the conversation mostly in your head and then turned to whoever was with you and said the next sentence out loud, and only after realizing that they were never part of the conversation in the first place.

Okay I am seriously crying right now as I am typing this I am laughing so much. So glad I am not the only one!
