Happy Thursday my loves!
While you guys are always my first love, you just know I have a little twinkie on the side. It’s just how I roll. If we’re going to be together, you need to know up front: I’m going to cheat on you.
…With cheese.
Obviously. C’mon. And I don’t blame you if you do the same to me. I don’t know a single person on the planet who doesn’t love cheese. Even lactose-intollls like cheese. They might not be able to eat it – but they still love it.
Cheese. Oh yes.

…I know right? 16 shameless plugs right there. Point being: I LOVE CAKE! …(no wonder I’ve gained 20 pounds in the last 5 years, right?).
My newest love? ….Number 17….. Classic New York style cheesecake. I didn’t love cheesecake growing up. In fact I downright hated it. It was right up there with pizza, science fiction and talking politics for me. Luckily, I’ve come around. Now ask me what my ideal date night would be? Watching the new Startrek movie, followed by an intelligent debate about the Syrian crisis all while mowing down on homemade pizza and cheesecake! Okay, maybe not exactly. But you get the idea.
A couple of weeks ago Beth from Young Idealistic Baker guest posted her Wine & Pine Galette Experiment. That day, I guest posted at her blog.
I give you, Classic New York Style Cheesecake with Fresh Summer Berry Coulis. Unfucking believable.
P.s. Could I have inserted any more links into this post? Jesus!
