She Eats Loudly: Boozy Caramel Sauce - Ep 004

Boozy Caramel Sauce - She Eats

If you like booze. Or caramel. You’re going to like this podcast. While I normally focus on more locally seasonal food and recipes, sometimes you just gotta make what’s local in your heart. Like alcohol and dulce de leche. Or some kind of weird hybrid of the two. Because those of us who work in the restaurant industry know, there’s nothing dearer - and more loathed - than alcohol. Join me this week while I explore my first experiences with the two and explain how you can get more of them in your life. Also, you might just learn something about gender. Weird, right?

You know what’s so amazingly strange? Just yesterday I used your chocolate chip cookie recipe to make a layered cake with it because I loved how “cakey” the cookies were and thought they’d be actually amazing in a cake (and they were, I didn’t even get a piece before the whole thing was gone!)

Funny how we both had each other on the mind lately. Thanks for the shoutout!

So FUNNY! I hope i didn’t kill your name (or your blog’s name) too much. You really are fabulous and I only want to say great things about you :)

PS. I LOVE that you did that with the cookies!!! I’m sorry you didn’t get to have any, but at least you get to make it again 😉 that way you can try some!

      xoxoxo!

    I came, I listened, I loved.
I’m also fairly certain no other whole foods podcaster has managed to work the clitoris into any conversation. Well done, my friend.

PS I thoroughly enjoyed the back stories with the booze and in the restaurant biz.

Oh yay!! HAHAHA - I was wondering if I was stepping over a line with that one but I thought I’d go for it anyway. I’ll keep the back stories in mind (not about the clitoris but about restaurant biz) for later shows. I got lots of ’em!

PS. Though this wasn’t my favorite podcast, I love that you loved it. The next one should be even better!

Of course I can! :) Thanks for the kind words Teresa - hope you enjoyed the podcast! The sauce was pretty incredible - need to make more today. Because I’m sure it’s totally “healthy” haha..
